Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta 2026

A nine-day hot air balloon gathering where hundreds of balloons launch in mass ascensions at dawn over the Rio Grande Valley. Visitors walk among the balloons on the launch field, and evening sessions feature glowing tethered balloons and fireworks. It is one of the largest ballooning events in the world and a major autumn tradition in New Mexico.
