Las Fallas de València 2027

Valencia's signature spring festival, in which neighbourhood groups erect hundreds of giant satirical sculptures (fallas) across the city during the main days of 15-19 March. Daily mascletà firecracker displays, flower offerings to the Virgin and street parties culminate in La Cremà, when the monuments are burned on the final night. The festival is inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
