One of the largest Diwali celebrations outside India, hosted by Leicester City Council in the Belgrave area near the famous Golden Mile. The 2026 Diwali Day event features music and dance performances on stage, food vendors, arts and crafts stalls and a children's funfair, alongside the traditional Diwali lights along Belgrave Road. The festivities are free and open to the public.
